Dr McKinney

Dr. Mckinney, Veterinarian

Dr. Phil McKinney is a long time practitioner in the Tulsa Metropolitan area with years of experience in surgery and medicine with a particular interest in canine reproduction as well as canine athletic injuries. Dr. McKinney is a member of the Tulsa County Veterinary Medical Association, Oklahoma Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Veterinary Medical Association.

When he is not working, Dr. McKinney enjoys spending countless hours training and competing his two hunting dogs, Hattie and Tick (a yellow Lab and English Setter respectively).

In addition, Dr. McKinney loves to pick up an occasional fishing pole and to work in his garden as well as spend quality time with family.

Lacey

Dr. Loveless, Veterinarian

Dr. Lacey Loveless has been working at Crestwood Crossing Animal Hospital since 2020. She grew up in Alaska but returned to Oklahoma to graduate from Jenks High School. Dr. Loveless graduated from Baylor University and headed back up to Oklahoma, graduating from Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009 before spending ten years practicing at a small animal clinic in Fort Worth, Texas. Dr. Loveless and her husband, Brian, also a veterinarian, returned to Tulsa in 2019. They have a black Labrador named Rogue, and a cat named Beauregard. When not working, they love anything outdoors, hanging with Rogue, spending time with friends and family, and exploring local places in and around Tulsa. Dr. Loveless enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, but especially enjoys wellness visits, internal medicine, and ophthalmology.

Russell

Dr. Donathan, Veterinarian

Dr. Russell Donathan is a second generation veterinarian, originally from Okmulgee County. Prior to receiving his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Oklahoma State University, Dr. Donathan studied Economics at the University of Tulsa, followed by working in non-profit management. His 20+ years in veterinary medicine has developed his interests in internal and emergency medicine, pain management, and low-stress environments for pets. Dr. Donathan is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association.

Dr. Donathan and his wife have been rescuing medically-fragile French Bulldogs for over 15 years, and currently have Cap’t Jack Sparrow (11) and Opral (yes, “Opral”) Winfrey (5).

In addition, Dr. Donathan enjoys remodeling and home projects, his beloved OSU Cowboys and Golden State Warriors, his monthly group of close friends, and time with his wife, their two sons and their wives, and granddogs (Junior, Gwinnie, Scooter (all Frenchies), Lola (Boxer), and Bogey (Bernese Mountain Dog).

Dr. Allison Tarvin

Dr. Allison Tarvin grew up in Sand Springs, OK. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree with a Major in Biology at Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas where she also played four years of collegiate softball. She obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Oklahoma State University in 2018. She is a Fear Free Elite Certified Professional and enjoys every aspect of veterinary medicine but has special interests in abdominal ultrasound, soft tissue surgery, dentistry, and internal medicine.

In her free time, Dr. Tarvin enjoys traveling with her husband and daughter, reading, snowboarding, and baking. She has two dogs, Molly a mixed breed senior and Missy, a senior English Bulldog.

She takes great pride in providing the best quality of medicine she can for her patients and treating her patients like her own pets.
